White Texas Sheet Cake with Cinnamon Frosting

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 Nature's Yoke eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sour milk (1 1/2 tsp. vinegar + 1/2 c. milk)
  • 1 tsp baking soda

FROSTING

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cup Domino powdered sugar
  • 2 drops cinnamon oil
  • 2 drops red food coloring

Instructions
 

Cake

  • Heat butter and water together.
  • Add sugar, salt and flour. Mix well, then add remaining ingredients.
  • Pour into a greased and floured jelly roll pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Frost with Cinnamon Frosting.

Frosting

  • Mix butter, milk and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Add powdered sugar, red food coloring and cinnamon oil.
  • Mix well and spread on cake. Cut into squares to serve.
