Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 2 Nature's Yoke eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup sour milk (1 1/2 tsp. vinegar + 1/2 c. milk)
- 1 tsp baking soda
FROSTING
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 cup Domino powdered sugar
- 2 drops cinnamon oil
- 2 drops red food coloring
Instructions
Cake
- Heat butter and water together.
- Add sugar, salt and flour. Mix well, then add remaining ingredients.
- Pour into a greased and floured jelly roll pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Frost with Cinnamon Frosting.
Frosting
- Mix butter, milk and vanilla until fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar, red food coloring and cinnamon oil.
- Mix well and spread on cake. Cut into squares to serve.
