- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 2 Nature's Yoke eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup sour milk (1 1/2 tsp. vinegar + 1/2 c. milk)
- 1 tsp baking soda
FROSTING
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 cup Domino powdered sugar
- 2 drops cinnamon oil
- 2 drops red food coloring
Cake
Heat butter and water together.
Add sugar, salt and flour. Mix well, then add remaining ingredients.
Pour into a greased and floured jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Frost with Cinnamon Frosting.
Frosting
Mix butter, milk and vanilla until fluffy.
Add powdered sugar, red food coloring and cinnamon oil.
Mix well and spread on cake. Cut into squares to serve.
