Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 Nature's Yoke egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated onion
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds

Instructions
 

  • Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt and dill.
  • Whisk egg with buttermilk, butter and onion.
  • Blend with dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
  • Spoon into greased muffin tins. Brush top with 1 T. melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  • Bake until golden at 400 degrees F. for 15-20 minutes.
