
Granola Bars
Delicious and healthy, these Granola Bars are made with flaxseed, wheat germ, cinnamon, and craisins making an excellent, on-the-go healthy snack.

Ingredients
- 2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup craisins
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 Nature's Yoke egg, beaten
- 2 tsp Vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Generously grease a 9x13 baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, flaxseed, cinnamon, flour, craisins and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine applesauce, oil, honey, egg and vanilla. Make a well in the center of dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Mix well. Pat mixture evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until the bars turn golden at the edges. Cool for 5 minutes, then cut bars while still warm.
- Wrap individually or store in air-tight container.
