French Toast Sticks

French Toast Sticks are a breeze to make and perfect to dunk into maple syrup!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Nature's Yoke eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 10 slices bread
  • powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, beat eggs, milk and salt; set aside. Spread butter on five slices of bread.
  • Combine sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle on buttered pieces of bread. Top with remaining bread slices. Trim crusts off; cut each sandwich into three strips.
  • Cook on a lightly greased hot griddle for two minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
