
Christmas Cut-Out Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tbsp whole milk
- 2 Nature's Yoke eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3 cup flour (scant)
- dash of salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Colored sugars, edible glitter and nonpareils
Frosting
- 4 cup Dominos powdered sugar
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp light corn syrup, optional (to add a shine to the frosting)
- gel food coloring
Instructions
Cookies
- Cream sugar and butter together in a mixing bowl. Add milk, eggs and vanilla.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture one cup at a time, mixing well. Chill several hours.
- Roll out dough on a well floured surface to desired thickness (1/4"). Cut out with Christmas cookie cutters of your choice. Transfer to baking sheet. Bake at 375 F. for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely. Decorate cookies with frosting and colored sugars.
Frosting
- Add milk and vanilla to powdered sugar. Mix well. Add corn syrup, if desired. Set aside small amounts and add desired food coloring to each.
