Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cup sugar
- 5 Nature's Yoke eggs
- 3 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla
Chocolate Fudge Glaze
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 7 tbsp milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar together. Add one egg at a time and beat until creamy.
- Add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt alternately with milk. Mix well and add vanilla.
- Bake in a greased tube or bundt pan at 325 degrees F. for 90 minutes.
Chocolate Fudge Glaze
- Combine sugar, milk, salt, butter, and cocoa powder in heavy saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Allow to boil without stirring for two minutes.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Stir until cooled just slightly.
- Spoon over cooled cake.
