Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cup sugar
  • 5 Nature's Yoke eggs
  • 3 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla

Chocolate Fudge Glaze

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 7 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter and sugar together. Add one egg at a time and beat until creamy.
  • Add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt alternately with milk. Mix well and add vanilla.
  • Bake in a greased tube or bundt pan at 325 degrees F. for 90 minutes.

Chocolate Fudge Glaze

  • Combine sugar, milk, salt, butter, and cocoa powder in heavy saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Allow to boil without stirring for two minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  • Stir until cooled just slightly.
  • Spoon over cooled cake.
