
Chocolate Lovers' Cake
Fittingly named, Chocolate Lovers' Cake gets some of its sweetness from a bottle of chocolate syrup.

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 Nature's Yoke Eggs
- 1 (16 oz) Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
Fudge Frosting
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients together.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with chocolate syrup to egg mixture. Add vanilla and mix well.
- Pour batter into a greased 9×13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45-50 minutes.
Frosting
- Combine all ingredient,s except vanilla, in saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat with spoon until thick. Cool a little and then spread on cake.
