The Best Fried Egg Burger
The Best Fried Egg Burger is easy to make for any meal. A perfect soft-yolk fried egg, crispy hash browns, smoky bacon, lettuce, and tomato make this stack your next favorite kind of burger.
- 4 Natures Yoke Organic Free-Range Eggs
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 1 1/2 cups hash browns
- 8 bacon slices
- olive oil
- Dijon mustard
- sriracha chili sauce
Pre-cut your lettuce and tomatoes. Set aside.
Fry up the bacon on medium heat until done, flipping as needed. Transfer to a plate.
Cook your hash browns according to package instructions (we cooked ours with a little olive oil on medium/high heat). They should be golden brown and crispy on the edges. Transfer to a plate.
Fry up eggs on medium heat until the whites are opaque and the whites are no longer translucent. To keep the yolk from cooking, the eggs should be fried on one side. Flipping the egg will cook the yolk.
Lay out your hamburger buns. In the following order stack your burger: lettuce, hash browns, tomato, bacon and fried egg. Put on your ketchup, Dijon mustard and/or sriracha chili. Top with top of hamburger bun and serve.
