Pumpkin Cake Dessert

Thanks to the ease of a yellow cake mix, this delicious Pumpkin Cake Dessert is the perfect choice for an autumn treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Nature's Yoke eggs, beaten
  • 2 cup cooked pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • Whipped cream, optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix eggs, pumpkin, sugar and spices. Pour into a 9x13 pan.
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix over top.
  • Drizzle melted butter over mix. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 1 hour and 20 minutes. (Cover with foil loosely to keep from browning for the first half of baking time.)
  • Cut into squares and serve with whipped topping or ice cream, if desired.
