Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Bread
Soft and creamy, our chocolate chip cream cheese bread is really just a cookie in a loaf! It is the perfect companion to a cup of coffee or tea.
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 Nature's Yoke eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup semi-sweet (or dark) chocolate chips
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except flour and milk. Mix well.
Add one cup of flour and half of milk. Mix well, then add second cup of flour and other half of milk. Whip together.
Pour mixture into 2 greased loaf pans or 4 mini loaf pans. Bake for 45 minutes. (30 minutes for mini loaves) Allow to partially cool before cutting.
